AABC Appreciation Week

AABC Appreciation Week is May 18-22, 2020

The Mississippi School Boards Association (MSBA) has designated the week of May 18-22, 2020, as School District Administrative Assistants and Board Clerks (AABC) Appreciation Week, and we encourage you and your district to participate in this event.

The 16th Annual AABC Conference, originally set for May 4-5, has been postponed due to COVID-19, but you will be notified when it is rescheduled. The conference was designed especially for AABCs. MSBA developed the conference to provide professional development for administrative assistants, board clerks, executive secretaries, and other central office personnel who work directly with the superintendent and the board in the areas of meetings, board policies, financial records, office files, and general office management.

The documents below are for you to use to recognize and express appreciation to the AABC personnel in the central office. Please take this opportunity to help acknowledge these professionals who assist you in your vision about the future of Mississippi children. MSBA encourages all school boards to officially designate this week in May as “School District AABC Appreciation Week."
