The Board's Role in State Accreditation:

The Board's Role in State Accreditation presents a comprehensive overview of the state accreditation process.  It is designed to help participants understand the board's roles and responsibilites in state accreditation standards and relevant Mississippi Codes that mandiate their governing of a school district.

  • Participants will comprehend the role of the Office of Accreditation and Statewide Accountability System.
  • Participants will understand the process standards applicable to their role as a School Board Member.
  • Participants will understand the Mississippi Code as it pertains to their role as a School Board Member.
  • Participants will understand the importance of the relationship between the School Board and Superintendent.

Cost: $105.00

CEU Credit: 3 hours of CEU Credit School Board Members
