Please Read Before Applying for a Mississippi Superintendency!

Per the Mississippi Code of 1972 37-9-13, effective July 1, 2017, Candidates must meet new criteria to be eligible to become a superintendent in Mississippi.  Please click below to view the changes in the law.

The MSBA Superintendent Search Service is directed by MSBA Executive Director, Dr. Michael W. Waldrop, Denotris Jackson, MSBA Assistant Executive Director and former president of the Mississippi School Boards Association and Clinton Public School District board of trustees, also serves as a member of the superintendent search team.  New to the search team is Dr. Tommye Henderson, former superintendent  of the Clinton Public School District and Mississippi College professor.
