AABC Appreciation Week
April 23-29, 2023
The Mississippi School Boards Association (MSBA) has designated the week of April 23-29, 2023, as School District Administrative Assistants and Board Clerks (AABC) Appreciation Week. We encourage you and your district to participate in this event.
The 18th Annual AABC Conference will be held on May 1-2. The conference was designed especially for AABCs. MSBA developed this professional development event for administrative assistants, board clerks, executive secretaries, and other district office personnel who work directly with the superintendent and the board in the areas of meetings, board policies, financial records, office files, and general office management.
The documents below are for you to use to recognize and express appreciation to the AABC personnel in the district office. Please take this opportunity to help acknowledge these professionals who assist you in your vision about the future of Mississippi children. MSBA encourages all school boards to officially designate this week in April as “School District AABC Appreciation Week."
