The Mississippi School Boards Association (MSBA) will host the annual Legislative Update & School Law Review at the Sheraton Flowood The Refuge Hotel and Conference Center in Flowood, MS.  

Attend the Legislative Update & School Law Review to find out about decisions of lawmakers in the Mississippi Legislature, recent court rulings locally and nationally, and changes in federal / state guidelines. This important annual meeting is designed especially for school board members, superintendents, board attorneys, and key central office administrators who work together to strategically plan for the next year and beyond. 

Cancellation Policy:

Written cancellations received after April 1 will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. All cancellations must be made by April 22 or your district will be billed the full registration fee.

Credit Hours:

Board members can earn up to nine (9) continuing education hours by attending the Early Bird and the Legislative Update & School Law Review.

Attorneys can earn six (6) hours of CLE credit for the Tuesday session only.   

Superintendents and Administrators can earn up to five (5) SEMI credit hours. Administrators must provide their Mississippi Educator License Number and attend in-person to receive credit.

Registration Fees:

Early Bird Seminar (Monday): $200 per person
Conference (Tuesday): $400 per person
